Honeybean Makerie – Digital Files Terms of Service

Welcome, friend 🌿 Thank you for supporting Honeybean Makerie. These terms are here to clearly explain how our digital seamless files, patterns, and artwork ("Files") may be used. By purchasing or downloading any Files, you agree to the following:

1. Ownership

All artwork remains the copyrighted property of Honeybean Makerie. When you purchase a File, you are purchasing a license to use the artwork, not ownership of the design itself.

Please do not claim the artwork as your own, register it as a trademark, or redistribute it in any form beyond what is outlined below.

2. Personal Use License 

You MAY:

• Use the Files for personal crafts and projects
  

• Print the Files for personal use
  

• Create gifts for friends or family
  

You MAY NOT:

• Resell, share, or distribute the File in any digital format (this includes sharing with friends or family - even if it’s for their personal use, dump groups, etc…)
  

• Claim the artwork as your own
  

• Create new digital design assets using the File (including seamless patterns, clipart, SVGs, or PNGs)
  

• Edit the artwork or file outside of adding text (no changing colors, adjusting artwork, etc…)
  

• Post the artwork unwatermarked or cropped to prevent theft
  

• Upload or use the Files with print-on-demand or third-party fulfillment services (including but not limited to Spoonflower, Printify, Redbubble, Society6, Amazon, etc)
  

• Use the Files for mass production, manufacturing, or wholesale without an additional license
  
  

3. Limited Handmade Commercial Use License 

A small shop, handmade-friendly commercial license is included unless otherwise stated. Must have 2 employees or less, otherwise, please purchase the extended licensing. If you have your products manufactured by someone other than yourself (fabric shop, clothing, straws, etc…) you must purchase an additional manufacturer license for each file.  

You MAY:

• Use the Files to create physical HANDMADE products for sale (such as mugs, apparel, paper goods, home decor, etc.)
  

• Sell up to 200 total physical items per design
  

• Use the Files across your own small business products
  

• Have another trusted small business print your fabric to use in your handmade product, but they may not continue to use the files (if you have your items manufactured, please purchase the additional licensing)
  

You MUST:

• Incorporate the artwork into a finished PHYSICAL product
  

• If you go beyond the 200 item limit in the calendar year, or you have your products manufactured by someone else, you must purchase the extended or manufacturer license
  

• Always watermark the Files when sharing the artwork to prevent theft
  

You MAY NOT:

• Resell, share, or distribute the File in any digital format (this includes sharing with friends or family - even if it’s for their personal use, dump groups, etc…)
  

• Claim the artwork as your own
  

• Create new digital design assets using the File (including seamless patterns, clipart, SVGs, or PNGs)
  

• Edit the artwork or file outside of adding text (no changing colors, adjusting artwork, etc…)
  

• Post the artwork unwatermarked or cropped to prevent theft
  

• Upload or use the Files with print-on-demand or third-party fulfillment services (including but not limited to Spoonflower, Printify, Redbubble, Society6, Amazon, etc)
  

• Use the Files for mass production, manufacturing, or wholesale without an additional license

4. Limited Manufactured Products License

For small shops with 2 employees or less that do not make their items by hand, but have them manufactured by another business. 

With a Manufactured License, you MAY:

• Use the artwork for manufacturing as long as you use a trusted vendor that will not continue to use or sell the artwork files
  

• Sell up to 200 total physical items or yards per design
  

• Apply the design across multiple product types as long as you do not exceed 200 products or yards. If you plan to sell more, you must also purchase the extended license
  

Manufactured License Still Does NOT Allow:

• Digital resale, sharing, or redistribution of the Files
  

• Editing the artwork or file outside of adding text
  

• Use of the artwork to create new digital design assets for resale
  

• Print-on-demand usage
  

• If you are a large business/corporation/etc, you may contact me directly for proper licensing (support@honeybeanmakerie.com)
  

Manufactured Product Licenses are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser or business.

5. Yearly Extended Commercial License (Optional Add-On)

For small shops who make their items by hand. License available for the calendar year (January 1st-December 31st). You must renew the license every year for File you purchase and use past 200 products. You may purchase at any time after you hit the 200 product max. If you have your products manufactured by someone other than yourself (fabric shop, straws, etc…) you must have an additional manufacturer license for each file.  

With an Extended License, you MAY:

• Sell unlimited physical end products using the File
  

• Apply the design across multiple product types
  

Extended License Still Does NOT Allow:

• Digital resale, sharing, or redistribution of the Files
  

• Editing the artwork or file outside of adding text
  

• Use of the artwork to create new digital design assets for resale
  

• Print-on-demand usage
  

• If you are a large business/corporation/etc, wanting to mass produce, etc…, you may contact me directly for proper licensing (support@honeybeanmakerie.com)
  

Extended Licenses are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser or business. 

6. Always Prohibited Uses

No matter the license, you may never:

• Resell, share, or distribute the File in any digital format (this includes sharing with friends or family - even if it’s for their personal use, dump groups, etc…)
  

• Claim the artwork as your own
  

• Create new digital design assets using the File (including seamless patterns, clipart, SVGs, or PNGs)
  

• Edit the artwork or file outside of adding text (no changing colors, adjusting artwork, etc…)
  

• Post the artwork unwatermarked or cropped to prevent theft
  

• Use the Files for NFTs, AI training, or blockchain-related products
  

• Use the Files in unlawful, harmful, or defamatory ways
  

• Upload or use the Files with print-on-demand or third-party fulfillment services (including but not limited to Spoonflower, Printify, Redbubble, Society6, Amazon, etc)
  

7. Attribution

Credit is lovely but not required. If you choose to credit, please use:

8. Refunds

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. Please check you are purchasing the correct item before you finalize checkout. 

9. License Termination

Failure to follow these terms may result in immediate termination of your license without refund. Honeybean Makerie reserves the right to protect its work.
